Scope and Purpose

This is the user guide for ControlTier Workbench. It covers everything you need to know to start using Workbench to create and manage types, objects and transforms.

The User guide is organized into several sections, each focusing on related tasks and will help teach you best practices and skills:

  • Getting Started: Provides a conceptual overview, introducing key terms, and introduces the Workbench web user interface.
  • Basic Tasks: Describes how to create and manage projects, types, objects and transforms
  • Creating Transforms: Provides a general overview, and discusses how to develop transform templates.

Conventions

Constant width typeface is used to denote code and shell commands. Bold constant width is used in some code listings to highlight important or changed sections.
