Workbench is a server that provides a central repository and essential services for managing technical information and knowledge. Workbench allows multiple users to collaborate on building a model of their applications and the environments into which those applications are deployed. Using Workbench's view management and template-based transformation services, that model, called a Map, can be used to to drive processes and manage application change.
The primary ways users or other tools interact with Workbench is through a Web UI or by requesting documents from Workbench's transformation services.
